It's a BOY!!!

Well, we went to the doctor on Saturday and after people had been predicting a little girl for MONTHS, the verdict was in and it said...BOY! Jaxon Logan Ellis will be making his first appearance in May 2008 but in case you can't wait that long to see him, here are his 21 week ultrasound pics.

Our Latest Baby Pic

Kim went to the doctor again today and everything went great. The doctor wanted to get some bloodwork done on her and listen to the baby's heartbeat again. I got to go this time too, so that was cool. I couldn't help but smile when the doctor commented on how big the baby is. I know that sounds like something to silly to be proud of, but I couldn't help it. He or she was certainly awake. We could see the feet kicking and the baby looked like he/she was looking around and checking things out. It almost felt like the baby knew we were watching. The spine was easy to see as well as the heart beating. Kim was a champ while the tech drew her blood. Meanwhile, I was hyperventilating in the corner at the mere sight of it all. We all have to get the heeby geebies from something I suppose. We go back in three weeks for another check-up and then back again on January 19 to find out the gender. Thanks to all for the continued prayers. We love you.


Baby Ellis @ week 14

Thanksgiving is gone and Christmas time's a'comin!

Kim and I were fortunate enough to host our first real Thanksgiving this year. My mom, step dad, sister brother-in-law and niece were all able to make it up here for Thanksgiving. We had a ball. I think we managed to fit a week's worth of vacationing into about 3 days. My camera is on the fritz so I don't have very many pictures.

Ultrasound at 7 Weeks

Here is our first online baby picture. Kim went to the doctor today just as a precaution to a bit of a scare we had about the baby. The lady at the doctor said that the baby is "perfect" and that there is nothing out of the ordinary going on. The last ultrasound Kim got was difficult to see because the baby was about two weeks more underdeveloped than we thought. On this one though, you can see the contours of the face and even a little eye. It actually looks human. In the original ultrasound the baby was chillin upside down, but I flipped the picture over to make it easier to see. Cute huh?
