Trip to Texas

OK I finally did it. Here are some of the pictures from our trip to Texas and a few others. I realize that I haven't posted in a while but those of you who complained, harassed and threatened me convinced me to just post these pics. It was a lot of fun posting so many pictures and I will never do it again. Hopefully, I will never get so behind that I have to post this many. Coming Home

Well, Jaxon is home now. We came home yesterday afternoon and have been doing well since then. Kim stayed home from services today with her mom and Jax. She hopes to be back to normal soon but is still recouping from surgery.

Jax did well his first night home and slept for 5 consecutive hours. He is awake a lot of the time and perfectly happy just chilling and looking around with his deep blue/gray eyes. We are going to schedule his first Dr. apt tomorrow and maybe teach him how to change his own diapers. Wish us luck.

Jaxon Logan Ellis

HE IS HERE!!!!! Jaxon arrived safely yesterday at 1:40 p.m. He weighed 8-11 and was 20.5 inches long. He and Kim are both doing well. The C-Section took less than a half hour and Kim was walking 5 hours later. We are so blessed. Thank you all for your prayers. THEY WORKED. Here are a few pics and I promise more are on the way.

37-38 Week Update

OK! A ton has happened since we last updated so here goes. When Kim went for her 36 week appointment, the ultrasound confirmed that the little booger had still not turned and was practically standing inside of Kim. Because he had his feet down and not his butt down, the doctor said that the chances of him getting into position before Kim was to deliver were slim to none.

After a bozillion questions and much apprehension we scheduled a C-Section for Wednesday May, 28. So unless Kim goes into labor before that, I will be a daddy on the 28th at 1:00 p.m. That's right only 11 more days! I was particularly worried about the C-Section but the doctor assured us that this was the best option for both Jax and Kim and although it is major surgery, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Please continue to pray for all of us because the day is drawing nigh. Here are some newer pictures.

Pregnancy Update and MORE!

Wow...A lot has been going on and there is still more to come. We finished our childbirth class last night, and got diplomas for graduating and everything. We have been working quite a bit on the nursery and doing baby laundry in preparation for the big day. We go back to the doctor next Thursday (5/8) for the 37 week ultrasound to see if Jaxon is still breech. Other than that and swollen ankles, Kim and Jaxon are both doing great. 31 Weeks/1st BBQ of the Year!

We went back to the doctor this past Tuesday and got a good report. the Dr. still thinks that Jaxon is breech which is not exactly great news, but she said there is no reason to be concerned, because he still has plenty of time to turn. Other than that, all is well. We have a crazy couple of months ahead of us which pretty much tells me, my life will never be calm again as everything will slow down right around the time Kim is due! In case you are interested, here is what is ahead of us.
