31 Weeks/1st BBQ of the Year!

We went back to the doctor this past Tuesday and got a good report. the Dr. still thinks that Jaxon is breech which is not exactly great news, but she said there is no reason to be concerned, because he still has plenty of time to turn. Other than that, all is well. We have a crazy couple of months ahead of us which pretty much tells me, my life will never be calm again as everything will slow down right around the time Kim is due! In case you are interested, here is what is ahead of us.

4/20-4/25---Spring Gospel Meeting
4/23----------Back to the doctor
4/28----------Final Session of Child Birth Class
5/1-----------I am taking Kim to see "Wicked" for one last "date" before Jaxon gets here.

5/24----------Kim's Parents Arrive
5/31----------Jaxon is due and one of my best friends in the WORLD, Tucker is getting married!

30 Week Ultrasound/Easter

We went to the doctor yesterday for the 30 week ultrasound. The tech said that everything was fine except that Jaxon is not turned the way he should be. She said that at 30 weeks, 20% have not yet turned but only 4% at 37 weeks so we have another ultrasound at 37 weeks. Please keep Jaxon in your prayers that he will figure out where his head should go.

We go back to the doctor every 2 weeks now until 36 weeks and then every week after that. Also, w e start our childbirth classes next Monday and we tour the hospital on the 12th. Lots to do and time is ticking down. Here is a video of our trip to the doctor yesterday.

Well, we survived another St. Patty's Day. We didn't go downtown to the parade this year cause it was on Saturday and we had other plans. Plus, with Kim being 29 weeks pregnant, we decided that all those festivities might be a bit much. So instead, we hung with some good friends, went to see "Horton Hears a Who," ate at Bennigans and had a Bible study. All in all, it was a good day.

Kim goes back to the doctor on Monday for the 30 week ultrasound so more pictures to come, but here are a few to tide you over.

26 Weeks Today!

Well, we went to the doctor again today and are pleased to inform that the baby is perfect. Those were the doctor's words. They gave Kim a glucose test that she will have to complete within the next 2 weeks to check for gestational diabetes, and in 4 weeks we go back for another ultrasound.

We are now looking forward to the fun stuff. We registered for the baby shower that is coming up. We get to schedule an appointment with the hospital to tour it, and we'll be looking into childbirth classes in the next few weeks. Any way you slice it, Jaxon will be here in 3 months. Sacred Bovine!! Are we really ready for this? Probably not but we are too excited to care. Please continue to remember us in your prayers. Here are some pics of Kim at 26 weeks.

Well, we went to the doctor on Saturday and after people had been predicting a little girl for MONTHS, the verdict was in and it said...BOY! Jaxon Logan Ellis will be making his first appearance in May 2008 but in case you can't wait that long to see him, here are his 21 week ultrasound pics.
